the hands behind the artefacts

nin is an amateur woodworker, poet, and ceramicist intent on cultivating intuition and meditation within her work. she travels the world and is inspired by the relationships we forge; with each other, with language, and with our environments. nin's pieces are designed to incite simplicity, appreciation, and intention in our daily lives.

adornment, to nin, is the physical manifestation of our spirits' stories.

nin believes in the beauty of connection and ritualistic simplicity.

her works aim to inspire this within others through her craft.

nin's story

nin was born to young parents in the sunshine coast hinterland and developed alongside fellow creative spirits.

her main source of inspiration in childhood was the world of the fae, natural bodies, languages, and the absurd.

not much has changed.

nin now studies a bachelor of creative writing through curtin university, sacred adornment through online modules, five different languages through self-study, and is reconnecting with her celtic-pagan and māori ancestries.

she manages her business independently.

she listens to the unspoken voices of the earth and their stories.

she writes them down in clay and timber and sounds.
